February 2005:   A quiet and peaceful month in Washington.  We are having a mild winter.  The weather has been mostly in the 40s with some days in the 50s.  Not much rain, no snow.  Not good to help with the current drought conditions we are facing.

Dad and Dave managed to do a little fishing with Dad bringing home the big boy!

We spent some time out on the ranch now that the guys are back for the season.  Pruning was underway, and we had a quick lesson on how the pruning process is done...  more art than science, I think!

Becca continued practicing her knitting skills, knitting a throw for Jimmie for Valentine's Day.

We celebrated Mardi Gras with a traditional gumbo for dinner, and Becca whipped up a King Cake for dessert.  Jimmie was our king for the day as he found the pecan in the cake!

Santa must have taken a wrong turn!  The Christmas package from the Downies arrived.  Lady and Millie modeled their capes for all to see.
